Relay Control Module RCM3000
RCM3000 relay control module can be controlled by any of WiPath paging or wireless data products such as the PDT3000, PDR3000. Its relays can also be operated directly from a PC or other serial output device.
There are three of ways of addressing the individual relays:
- By capcode
- By a user selectable message text
- Using a simple ASCII serial data protocol
- 27 individually addressable relays
- Multiple relay boards may be daisy chained (up to 2056 relays maximum) to create a highly flexible remote control system
- RCM3000 is also available optionally with an onboard paging receiver Relay Control Module can be interfaced directly to a cellular modem.

2. How do I control the relays on the RCM3000?
There are three methods available to activate the relays:
• By sending a pre–configured text message.
• By using the unique address (capcode) associated with the relay you want to activate.
• By sending simple serial control commands from your software or PC.
3. Can the RCM3000 work with my paging or alert system?
Yes — it can be connected to a paging receiver or data terminal so that when a paging message arrives, it can automatically switch relays based on your rules.
4. How many relays can I control with one RCM3000 board?
Each board provides 27 individual relays that you can control separately.
5. Can I expand beyond 27 relays if I need more outputs?
Yes — multiple RCM3000 boards can be connected in a chain so you can control many more relays from a single system.
6. What kind of devices or equipment can I switch with these relays?
The relays are rated to handle typical control voltages for industrial and automation equipment. You can use them for lighting, motors, alarms, pumps, and other devices within the relay load limits.
7. How do I send commands to the RCM3000 from my computer?
