Outdoor Church LED Sign Installation
This project involved the supply and installation of a custom outdoor Church LED Sign for St Andrews Presbyterian Church. The new digital display provides the church with a modern and highly visible way to communicate with its congregation, visitors and the wider community.
The Church Digital LED Sign was designed to display both text and full-colour graphics, giving the church flexibility to update messages for worship services, special events, community activities, announcements and other important information.
The LED display was installed as a single-sided outdoor digital display on a purpose-built twin-post structure, with a static panel above the screen incorporating the church name, logo and graphical elements.
Custom Church Digital Display
The project was designed around the church’s requirement for a reliable and easy-to-manage Church Electronic LED Sign suitable for outdoor use.
The display uses 3.9mm pixel pitch RGB LED technology, providing clear and vibrant content for people approaching the church.
The LED sign is housed in a weatherproof aluminium enclosure and includes a 4.5mm polycarbonate anti-vandal protection cover. This provides additional protection for the LED modules while maintaining clear visibility of the digital display.
The supporting structure was fabricated using corrosion-treated structural steel and can be installed using either a concrete foundation or ground screw system, depending on site requirements.
Church LED Sign with Custom Static Graphics
A key part of the installation is the static signage above the LED screen. The shaped static graphics panel provides space for the St Andrews Presbyterian Church name, logo and other church information, creating a professional entrance feature.
Combining permanent branding with a dynamic LED screen allows the church to maintain its identity while regularly changing the information displayed on the Church Digital Display.

The Church Digital LED Sign is designed to make content management simple for church staff.

Remote Control and Connectivity
The LED sign can communicate with the church network through a data cable or Wi-Fi connection.
Where the church’s existing Wi-Fi does not provide reliable coverage at the sign location, a dedicated secure point-to-point Wi-Fi connection can be used.
This provides a reliable communication path and allows authorised church staff to update the Electronic Church Sign without needing to access the display physically.
